Inspiring Educators

Help us recognize the educators who inspire and impact our students.

 

The BHHS Legacy Foundation is proud to celebrate the exceptional educators who make a difference in the lives of students throughout our tri-state community. Through the Inspiring Educators program, community members are invited to nominate outstanding K–12 public school and public charter school teachers whose dedication, creativity, and passion for teaching help students learn, grow, and succeed. 

 

This year, 39 educators will receive classroom grants to support, enhance, or enrich their classrooms! Whether a teacher inspires a love of learning, finds creative ways to engage students, or goes above and beyond to help students succeed, we want to hear their story. Help us recognize the educators who make a lasting difference in our community.​

Who Can Nominate?

Anyone in the community can nominate an outstanding educator, including:

• Students

• Parents

• Community members

• Peers and colleagues

Know a teacher who goes above and beyond? Help us recognize their dedication and the positive impact they make every day.

Who Can Be Nominated?

Nominees must be current K–12 teachers employed by an accredited public school or accredited public charter school in one of the following communities:

• Bullhead City

• Fort Mohave

• Mohave Valley

• Laughlin

• Topock

• Needles

Grant Awards

A total of 39 educators will be selected to receive classroom grants:

• 14 Educators Receive $750: One educator representing each grade level from Pre-K through 12th grade.

• 25 Educators Receive $500: Additional educators selected from any grade level.

Grant recipients will receive funding to support, enhance, or enrich their classrooms and create meaningful educational opportunities for their students. Additional information about grant use, recipient responsibilities, and reporting requirements will be provided to selected educators.

How to Nominate an Educator

2. Tell us about the teacher you are nominating and why they deserve recognition.

3. Submit your nomination during the nomination period.

​

Nomination Period: November 2 8am –December 18 5pm (AZ time)

All nominations must be submitted by the deadline to be considered.

​​

The BHHS Legacy Foundation will convene a committee of community representatives to review nominations and select the recipients based on the information provided in each nomination.
