The program aims to expose local students to medical career opportunities at

local Community Hospitals - Valley View Medical Center, Western Arizona

Regional Medical Center, or Colorado River Medical Center. Over a two-week

80-hour timeframe, students will job shadow in every area of the hospital. From

learning about the role of nurses to food service and maintenance systems -

there is a little bit of everything for students to experience. At the end of the

program, we hope students will find a career in the healthcare field.

Who is eligible to apply?

Students in high school are eligible to apply and submit an application. Priority is given to juniors and seniors. We encourage students to be prepared to be present every day of the two weeks. We want students who are excited for the opportunity and have a long-term goal to work in the healthcare field.

Education Requirements

Students will submit their high school transcript - no minimum GPA! One letter of reference will be requested - from a community member or high school representative.
